Captain Hutchinson’s diligent efforts to promote Crisis Intervention Training to all Hernando Sheriff’s Office Employees, for facilitating 24 presentations to educate staff on NAMI services, and for his efforts to raise awareness in the community through a “Find Help. Find Hope.” commercial on both TV and in the theater. Captain Hutchinson understands that when mental health goes untreated it leads to substance abuse, incarceration, and sometimes death.
